History of Ski Dubai

Ski Dubai’s history began in 2005 when it opened as the Middle East’s first indoor ski resort. Developed by Majid Al Futtaim Group, it was a pioneering project, defying the desert’s climate with its snow-covered slopes. This architectural marvel quickly became a global sensation, drawing visitors from across the world to experience winter sports in the heart of Dubai’s Mall of the Emirates. Over the years, Ski Dubai has evolved, adding new attractions and amenities while maintaining its status as one of the world’s most iconic indoor ski resorts. Its legacy continues to thrive, captivating adventurers and snow enthusiasts alike.

Some Important Information

• You shall have to carry your original passport which you’ll have to produce at the entrance
• There are minimum height and weight requirements for certain activities
• Children must be accompanied by adults
• Ski Dubai reserves the right to ask you to furnish a proof of age

Ski Dubai Tickets

1. Classic ticket, Ski Dubai 

• Unlimited access to Snow Park, Snow Cavern, Tobogganing, Giant Ball, Bob sledge, Tubing Run and Bump Car all through the day
• A single ride on the Chairlift
• A single ride on the Mountain Thriller
• Winter clothing and all winter gear
• Free fleece gloves

2. Snow plus ticket, Ski Dubai

• Unlimited full day access to all the rides in Snow Park
• A single ride on the Chairlift
• Select any of the following-
• 2 hours on the slopes
• A 60 minute discovery session
• Lockers
• Winter clothing and winter gear
• Free Fleece Gloves

3. Snow premium, Ski Dubai

• A 40-minute penguin encounter
• Choose from either:
  • A Slope Pass for experienced skiers and snowboarders (Skill Level 2+),
  • or a 60-minute Ski and Snowboard Discovery Lesson
• Unlimited access to the Snow Park & Rides (Tubing Run, Climbing wall, Bobsleds, Sliding Hills, Snow Plough Playground, Mountain Thriller ride, and Snow Bullet)
• Unlimited access to the chairlift
• Standard locker, hand warmers & waterproof gloves.
• One photo in the Snow Park (Penguin encounter photos are not included and can be purchased at an additional cost)

Things to know, Ski Dubai

• Please make sure to arrive 40 minutes before your booked Ski/Snowboard lesson or booked Penguin Encounter time slot
• All prices are inclusive of 5% VAT
• Slope access is available for experienced skiers and snowboarders only (Skill Level 2+)
• Guests should meet the minimum skills requirements to use the slope:

1. Stopping Safely
2. Speed Control
3. Link Turns
4. Ability to use the lifts

All guests must sign the waiver to enter the slope
